Features
- Local Processing: Runs entirely on your device using WebGPU. No images are uploaded to servers.
- Multiple Models: Choose from Q4 (fastest) to FP32 (highest quality) models.
- Interactive Segmentation: Use point clicks or bounding boxes to select objects.
- Instant Export: Download your segmented masks immediately.
How to Use
1. Load the Model
Select a model size based on your device's capabilities:
| Model | Size | Recommended For |
|---|---|---|
| Q4 | ~400MB | Mobile devices, older laptops, slow internet |
| Q4F16 | ~500MB | Balanced performance and quality |
| FP16 | ~800MB | High quality segmentation |
| FP32 | ~1.6GB | Maximum precision (requires high-end GPU) |
Click Load Model to download and initialize the model. This happens only once per session.
2. Upload Image
You can:
- Drag and drop an image file
- Click to select a file from your device
- Choose one of the sample images to test
3. Segment Objects
The playground supports two interaction modes:

- Left Click: Add a positive point (include this area)
- Right Click: Add a negative point (exclude this area)
- Refine: Add multiple points to refine the mask
Box Mode
- Click and drag to draw a box around the object you want to segment.
4. Download
Once you are satisfied with the segmentation, click the Download button to save the result as a PNG file with a transparent background.
Troubleshooting
WebGPU Support
This tool requires a browser with WebGPU support.
- Recommended: Google Chrome 113+ or Microsoft Edge 113+ on Desktop.
- Mobile: Support is experimental. Android devices with Chrome may work, but performance varies. iOS is currently not supported.
Performance Issues
If the tool is slow or crashes:
- Try using the Q4 model.
- Close other resource-intensive tabs or applications.
- Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date.
